My outlook inbox is not updating

We and others have begged Apple to fix this problematic bug type behavior to no avail. First begin with updating to the newest version of IOS.

Then try these other four possible solutions: Sane Box Compatibility with i OS Mail.

It will enable network connection, search for the email account settings and log on to the server to confirm that all is fine.

Once the process is completed, you may want to also click on the Change Account link, check the settings and then click Next. Restart your Outlook and see if this has helped you.

Sane Box works with any email client, device or provider (with the exception of POP-only providers, and there are very few of those left). The whole point of Sane Box is to get unimportant emails out of your way so that you can deal with your important ones now.

We take all of those unimportant emails and put them into Sane Later so that can either archive or delete them when you have a free moment.

You can also try updating the folder list by doing the following: 1) In Mail, in the Navigation Pane, right-click the top folder for your IMAP account.2) Click "Update Folder List".3) Repeat the steps above.So, if you or a service like Sane Box copies a large number of older emails into your Inbox right now, you may only see those and brand new emails that arrived after the copy. You can verify that by viewing your Inbox in your web mail interface.Thus, your Inbox will appear to have a set of missing emails. The problem is that IOS Apple Mail hasn’t “fetched” those gap emails yet and therefore is not showing them in your view.Rather, it creates a new healthy file; thus the original file is left intact.The application also helps to repair Outlook not responding issue, Outlook work offline problem, Outlook freezing problem, and so on with ease.
